Larnaca Holiday Apartment - For Sale
Travel

The apartment is an ideal base for your stay in Cyprus and travelling around Cyprus can be achieved very easily either by car (driving on the left hand side of the road and all road signs are in both English and Greek), by bus or by taxi.

Car Hire is available from all major car rental companies. Many can be found upon your arrival in Cyprus at Larnaca Airport. We recommend Petsas Rent-A-Car

Buses can be picked up regularly from Finikoudes beach (the main beach in Larnaca) at regular intervals and offer journeys all round the island. Indeed if you see a bus going down the road they may stop for you if you stick your hand out to stop them ! There is a fixed timetable from a number of companies. Bus journeys in Cyprus are inexpensive and a great way to see local and traditional Cyprus and the Cypriot people going about their every day business. Please bear in mind that the buses tend to stop by 5.00pm on a weekday and by 2.00pm on a Saturday. Timetables are available on the main promenade at Finikoudes, tourist information and at the apartment.

A further, traditional way of travelling in Cyprus is by a "shared" taxi. This consists of sharing a taxi with upto 8 passengers (many of whom may be local people) and will drop-off at a number of different stops during its route. In a shared taxi every passenger pays the same fare (approx CYP £4.50 per person).

Local metered taxis are also readily available and the fare, as at home, is based on your total journey time.

Telephone numbers for both shared and metered taxis can be found at the apartment.
